Some more Information

Spoiler - If you are someone who hates dust, heat and crowd and not someone who can enjoy something good in between these, then this is not a show you should visit.
There is a reason why I started this post with a negative comment!
This post is based on my visit to the show in 2015.
The Aero Show is the second largest Aero show in world and in my opinion is not something to be missed. AERO INDIA show is an air show that happens once in 2 years and organized by the Ministry of Defense in Yelahanka Air Force Station. It’s something unique. When it’s unique and good, what else do you need to go and give a try. But it’s organized once in 2 years and goes for 5 days including a weekend. Weekends, special attractions are added for the additional audience who visit.
For steps on how to book a ticket, visit the Aero India website location - https://www.aeroindia.in/GeneralVisitorLandingPage.aspx
The show tickets require an online registration to be done and the pass cost was Rs 600 for AERO SHOW 2015. After registration, you need to collect tickets from the centers assigned or directly in the venue.

The place is very much dusty and very hot. Do keep Sunscreens, mask and goggles. Eatables are available in the location but for very high price.
There are 2 sessions – One in the morning and one in the afternoon. It’s the same show being repeated even though the pass is for an entire day. Hence unless you love the show like anything, visiting one of the sessions is more than enough. But make sure you plan your travel since it will be very crowded and you might spend a lot of time in the entry queue or in the entry for parking area.

My Experience and Opinion

The day me and my friends had planned the visit for show, unfortunately I had to skip visiting the show with my friends since I had an interview scheduled on the day of visit and I had to postpone the visit. Nevertheless, for me visiting any place alone was not new and I enjoy the company of myself too. I had all reasons to get bored because, I had visited after a sleepless night of watching overnight drama - “Malegalali Madhumagalu”. But, the Show did not give me a chance to get bored. So, if you are someone who can enjoy despite of downsides, then do visit the show. This is not something to be missed.
I am less of a aero planes freak who keeps track of new fighter planes etc and if you are someone who does that, then you got more reasons to visit as you can find war planes from various countries doing some amazing stunts. The stunts are being repeated multiple times. Do not get bored. The next flight will be ready in a while to make a different stunt.

One more downside of the show is how bad we Indians are in keeping any place clean. Both Organizers and the crowd is responsible for this. Organizers for not placing enough trash bins and off course – crowd for obvious reasons. If you are able to walk in the aero show area without kicking or stepping at least one water bottle, you deserve a price then. #ugly
